To provide resources, such as counseling, mentoring, coaching, seminars and community events that address critical areas of self-care, mental, physical, financial, psychological and spiritual for all first responders. We offer peer and family support, essentials for positive development, and map a plan for those we help. We also aid them in executing the plan to prevent personal crisis from shift to shift.

Ray Schufford, aka Coach “SHOE”, is the founder of 2 The Next Shift created for firefighters, police officers and EMS first responders to support, educate, empower and equip them with solutions they need to be successful in their everyday lives while maintaining mental and physical health.
As a retired first responder and Chaplain, author, mentor and friend, Coach Shoe has been blessed to help people from all walks of life succeed more and thrive. Coach Shoe has dedicated his life to mentoring and coaching thousands of people of all ages and seen changes in millions.
